About Coinlytics
Coinlytics is a crypto analytics app that helps users track live prices, portfolio performance, and market trends through customizable iOS widgets. The app caters to both casual investors and serious traders who want instant access to real-time crypto data. Designed to be modular and privacy-first, it brings powerful blockchain insights directly to the iPhone screen.
My Role
I designed Coinlytics from the ground up—starting with over 500 widget concepts across small, medium, and large formats, from which 300 were selected for launch. I created the app’s complete component library and style guide to ensure visual consistency and scalability. I also worked closely with developers to maintain design fidelity and ensure the final product matched the intended experience.
Challenge
Users often tried to add widgets directly from the app, not realizing iOS requires doing it from the home screen. To solve this, we designed a clear, visual tutorial that guided them step-by-step through adding their chosen widget, making the process simple and intuitive.
Outcome
Coinlytics launched successfully on the App Store and became one of the most popular apps for crypto tracking. The flexible widget system let users personalize their experience while staying informed in real time. The privacy-first approach and attention to design detail earned strong user engagement and consistent positive feedback.
