About Voyager

Voyager is a mobile app for a global property investment firm with $300M in deployed capital, letting affluent investors diversify their portfolios and enjoy stays in luxury residences. The company relied on an outdated website and phone bookings, making reservations cumbersome. There was a clear need to modernize the experience and give users more control.

My Role

I conducted user research and stakeholder interviews to uncover pain points and opportunities. I created wireframes, prototypes, and a design system to create final UI and guide the app’s development. I collaborated closely with developers to ensure a polished and intuitive experience.

Challenge

Investors often had to call the company because the website was difficult to use, slowing down the booking process. This gap created frustration and undermined the luxury experience the brand promised.

Outcome

The Voyager app quickly became the primary way investors manage their stays, with the majority of users now booking through mobile. After launching the app, 80% of reservations shifted to the mobile platform, allowing investors to book independently and freeing staff to focus on higher-value support.

Support calls dropped significantly, allowing staff to focus on higher-value tasks. Reservations increased overall, reflecting a smoother, more engaging experience for users and stronger operational efficiency for the company.
