About Wend Care
Wend Care is an app for iOS and Android that helps users find healthcare jobs and access trainings. The app connects job seekers with nearby clinics and medical centers while offering a seamless way to sign up for jobs or training. The redesign aimed to modernize usability, add features, and make the application process intuitive.
My Role
I worked closely with the founders and users to understand expectations and pain points. Using design thinking, I created wireframes, tested flows, and redesigned the UI for both job and training applications, including in-app payments. I collaborated directly with developers to ensure the final product matched the intended experience and maintained visual consistency.
Challenge
The old app allowed users to view job descriptions but didn’t provide a way to apply, often forcing users to call directly. The challenge was to make searching by location intuitive and allow users to submit applications and sign up for training directly through the app. By streamlining these processes, we turned a confusing experience into a smooth, self-service workflow that saved time for users and employers.
Outcome
The final outcome of the educational platform was a highly engaging and effective learning tool that exceeded the client’s expectations.
As a result, the platform saw an increase in user engagement and language proficiency, becoming a popular resource for language learners.
